Volunteering

Anyone interested in volunteering can drop in to the branch for a volunteer information pack and application forms. All volunteers must possess a children's commission blue card. We are always looking for volunteers so please come in and see us. 

About Blackwater PCYC

The Blackwater branch first opened in 1983 and strives to improve communities through youth development.  We currently have around 1900 members and membership is continually growing as new programs and activities are introduced.

We offer a brand new fitness centre, gymnastics, bingo, aerobics, power bar, basketball, indoor soccer, boxing, cricket, toddler time and crèche.

Friday Night Skating 

6.00pm - 8.30pm Parents must sign in and out  

Our biggest event of the week is ‘Friday Night Skating' which is open to all school aged children. Our Youth Management Team is made up of around twenty young people and one of their main roles is to run Friday night skating where our basketball court becomes a skating rink and the lights are turned down so the disco lights can be turned up.

School Aged Care

We provide before and after school care, which is located in the Blackwater State School preschool building. This facility is open before and after school each day of the week and during school holidays the vacation care program takes over.
