About Carindale PCYC

The Carindale PCYC was built in 1998 as a relocation of the Woolloongabba PCYC. Highly regarded as a community sports club, the Carindale PCYC has developed a culture of fun, safe participation for children aged as young as four months, right through to senior citizens. There is something for everyone at the Carindale PCYC with over 30 different activities on offer. The club currently has over 1400 members and fantastic support from local businesses and all levels of government.

We have developed a very comprehensive program for children under 5 years with activities ranging from gymnastics, trampoline, arts and craft, dancing, and music. Classes are held every day and bookings are essential in all these activities.

We also host arguably the biggest and most successful dance parties in Brisbane.  On the third Saturday of every month, we host the Junior Pulse Dance Party for primary school students only. This dance starts at 7pm and finishes at 9.30pm and also has the latest music videos and amusements. Both dances are well supervised with volunteer police and civilians.

The Carindale PCYC also has an inclusive program for children with special needs. Activities include health and fitness classes, which involve gymnastics, trampolining and ball skills. There is also a Pulse Dance party for children with special needs, which is held on the third Friday of every month between 7pm and 9pm. This dance is for children of all ages who have some form of disability, and provides them with a great social outlet to be with friends in a safe and exciting atmosphere.
