About Emerald PCYC
The Emerald PCYC was officially opened on the 23rd of July 2004. The club took over what was at the time the only gym facility in the local community. This facility has been the lifeblood of the club, its main source of income and membership. We currently have over 1000 members.
Besides offering a fully equipped gym, Emerald PCYC has 20 group fitness classes per week and a range of other activities. We have a running group, a walking group, basketball, biddy ball, badminton, TaeKwonDo, Indoor Hockey, Computer Club, Mixed Martial Arts, and a Cardio Kids Club. Belly Dancing and a range of other dancing lessons are also held at the PCYC. We also have a Youth Leadership Group and will have a Get Set for Work programme running out of the PCYC.
