About Fortitude Valley PCYC
Fortitude Valley PCYC is one of 45 Branches of the Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association. QPCYWA was formed in 1948 and the Fortitude Valley branch was the third club, opened in 1965 and is now the oldest PCYC building.
The Fortitude Valley PCYC is renowned for its boxing programs and is open to anyone who wishes to improve their fitness or compete at an amateur level in boxing. The membership of the branch averages approximately 1000 members per year. Because of the unique location of the branch our membership is comprised of people from all over Brisbane and including the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich.
