Gladstone PCYC Facilities

Looking for a venue for that monthly meeting or a venue for your end of year awards night or conference? As the Gladstone PCYC is self-funded, by using us as your venue, you are directly supporting the activities and programs that we can offer to the Gladstone Community at affordable rates. Corporate and Community rates apply.

Areas available for hire include our air-conditioned "Pulse" hall (15m x 30m), double basketball courts (42m x 35m), outside barbecue area and airconditioned meeting room. Our small industrial style kitchen area is also available for hire.

Regular Courses:

  • Aerobics: A great way to meet new people and start a healthier lifestyle. Mondays and Fridays 8.30am. Pulse Hall

  • Boxing: Learn discipline, lose weight and get fit the old fashioned way whilst learning self defence. Juniors:TBA Seniors: Monday thru Thursday evenings 6.00pm to 7.00pm

  • Irish Dancing: Learn how to dance like the professionals in River Dance. Saturday Mornings 8.30am to 1pm. Pulse Hall

  • Zumba classes Monday and Friday 9.30am and Monday 5.15pm Friday 5.30pm Pulse Hall

  • Roller Derby skating starts at 3pm Sundays. Enrol as a team or individual.                                   

  • Social Badminton played on Tuesday nights 6.00 - 7.30pm Pulse Hall

  • Karate-Shotakan held on Wednesday nights 6.30 - 8pm. Sensai Doug Young
  • Indoor Hockey comp starts Thursday night 4th November 2010                       

  • Ladies Netball Competition: Come down and play to keep fit or keep social. Teams, individual players and umpires welcome. Monday evenings, games start at 6.00pm, $45 per team per game plus membership. Contact the PCYC for more information.

  • Youth Discos: TBA

  • Kindermusik: Discover the joys and benefits of music for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Contact the PCYC for class information.

  • After School Care: The PCYC bus transports the children from all local schools to the PCYC. After a healthy snack and some homework time, numerous activities are available to challenge and entertain. Hours are 2.30pm to 6pm weekdays, with full day care for pupil free days as required and dependent on suitable booking numbers.   • Before School Care: Operates each weekday morning from 6.00am to 8.00am. Children are given a healthy breakfast followed by quiet activities in readiness for the school day. Children are dropped off at local schools by 8.30am to begin the day in a calm and positive manner. Contact our childcare co-ordinator for further information.

  • Vacation Care: Operates during all school holidays, 6.00am to 6.00pm weekdays. A range of activities are available including games, crafts, outings, day trips, cultural and science activities. Contact our childcare co-ordinator for further information.
