About Logan City PCYC
The Logan City PCYC recently celebrated its 30 year anniversary. The original hall is still in use with a number of other areas added on over the years. In 2008 the club had over 3900 members. We are committed to the community not only through provision of our own programs, but also work in partnership with a number of other local community groups to enhance the community life of Logan.
We are always on the look out for new methods of fundraising and have had great success in the past with race day events, dinner functions and family fun days. These events have the twofold effect of raising community awareness of the Logan City PCYC as well as rasing much-needed funds.
We offer a variety of activities, and while the focus is on sporting pursuits we also have a number of activities for those less physically active members of the community, from musical instrument tuition through to bird watching. Our strongest activities are gymnastics, boxing and a variety of martial arts, with most groups taking part in local, state and national competitions.
