Mackay PCYC Facilities

  • Sports stadium - basketball, indoor soccer, volleyball, netball, badminton, karate mats, kindy-gym equipment.

  • Small hall - air-conditioned

  • Pulse room - air-conditioned, two pool tables, two playstation II, three TV's

  • Meeting room - air-conditioned, white board, projector / screen.

  • Kitchen - oven, fridge, pie warmer, bain-marie.

  • Bicycle track - used for bike education, traffic lights, signs and roundabouts.

  • Outside playground, sandpit.

  • Outside basketball court - skateboards welcome.

 

Pricing to use facilities

Prices vary according to numbers attending, air-conditioning use, weekend or weekday use and individual requirements.

Regular Courses

School Bicycle Education Program - Runs during the winter months
Two day program - bicycles and instructors provided

Duke of Edinburgh Award
Ongoing program with training as required.

Cost - Registration fee $35.


Youth Management Team
Young people organise events and activities for the youth of Mackay.
Those that demonstrate leadership skills attend the State Youth Leadership Camp.

March 12 – FNG (Beach Night)

April 16 – this is Youth Week and we may be holding a Blue light/Underage Rage. To Be Confirmed.

May 14 – FNG (Food Night)

June 11 – Blue light (Night Club)

July 16 – FNG (Sports Night)

August 13 – Blue light (Pajama Party)

September 10 – FNG (Party Night) Last FNG for year

October 29 – Blue light (Halloween) Last Blue light for year

We do recommend to bring a change of clothes and a towel for Friday Night Games.
