The club has one large hall that can be divided into two smaller halls, and a slightly smaller hall again for hire.

 

The kitchen is available for hall hires, and can be hired separately by caterers who carry a suitable blue card.

General information & conditions

(Contained in agreement for determining costs)

 

  • Standard hall hire includes:  Use of activity area’s 1 & 2 and kitchen area with use of existing tables and chairs.
  • No booking will be confirmed until such time as the relevant non refundable deposit ($100) is paid in full.  This deposit is non refundable in the case of a cancellation.  The balance is then due no later than 7 days prior to the hire date.
  • Hirer must read and sign full conditions in the hire agreement and schedule.
  • Requirement for 2 licensed security officers for 18th & 21st parties.  If Police are called during the function the bond will not be returned to the hirer.  The function must also be registered with the Queensland Police Service.  If a fight breaks out or if the staff feels threatened the Police will be called immediately and no bond will be refunded.
  • Maximum number of attendees is 200.
  • Catering is by negotiation only.
  • Approximately 150 chairs and 20 trestle tables are available for use.
  • No sticky tape or adhesives are to be used on the premises.
  • All tables and chairs are to be wiped down and put away at the end of the function.
  • Cleaning equipment will be made available to the hirer to avoid a cleaning fee being taken from the hirer’s bond.
  • The kitchen is to be cleaned and all rubbish must be taken home by the hirer.  The floor must be swept and mopped.
  • The toilets are to be cleaned and the floors swept and mopped.
  • Hall floor is to be swept and mopped and all decorations removed.
  • If hirer requires the club to do the cleaning, the function must end at 11pm at the latest and the hirer must pay 3 hours cleaning at $55.00 per hour out of their bond.
  • Association policies and statute laws must be followed at all times in respect of any hall hire including noise restrictions, liquor act and gambling laws.  The sale of liquor is prohibited and no gambling (real or pretend) is not permitted on these premises.
  • The hirer is to vacate the premises by midnight.  Hirer will be charged and additional $50.00 for each 15 minute period or part thereof after midnight, which will be taken from the hirer’s bond.
