You may have noticed there are dozens of different muesli and granola options in the cereal aisle these days….but what’s the difference?
While muesli and granola are both made with oats, nuts, seeds and dried fruits, muesli contains raw oats and is unsweetened and can be eaten either hot or cold.
Granola on the other hand, contains baked or toasted oats and is usually sweetened, using a significant amount of oil to bind the ingredients together.
So if in doubt, muesli is definitely the healthier option!
