Meet our member of the month: Luke from PCYC Fortitude Valley
Meet Luke! He’s one of our dedicated Gym+Fitness members at PCYC Fortitude Valley, and you can spot him here every day during his work breaks. Luke recently finished our Activ8 8-week challenge, completing all five days of strength training while also squeezing in morning runs twice a week! We caught up with Luke during the challenge asked him a few questions.
How long have you been a Gym+Fitness member at PCYC Fortitude Valley?
I’ve been with PCYC Fortitude Valley since the new building opened in 2020, but I’ve been with PCYC Queensland for a total of 10 years.
What do you love about PCYC Fortitude Valley?
It’s super convenient for me, the equipment is top-notch, and everyone is always friendly and open for a chat. I also really enjoy the Activ8 Group Training classes offered here.
Do you have any fitness goals?
My main goals are to build muscle and stay fit. I want to continue building the habit of going to the gym regularly because it’s something I truly love.
What is your favourite piece of equipment at the gym?
I love the rowing machine—I ‘ve spent an hour on it before! I also really enjoy using the free weights.
