PCYC embRACE is back for 2019!

At PCYC Queensland we are getting ready to host our signature event, PCYC embRACE! After a successful first event, we are excited to bring back PCYC embRACE on Sunday, 9 June! The event is a great example of the community embracing the spirit and fun and fitness. We saw hundreds of people travel across South-East Queensland to participate and in 2019 the event is going to be bigger and better!

Last year, PCYC Hills District member Connor Monroe was the lucky winner of PCYC embRACE. Connor is an active participant in his club, attending many events and programs. A valued member of the club’s Youth Management Team (YMT), Connor loves playing basketball and engaging in activities at the club. Having originally joined the PCYC club based on a friend’s recommendation, he quickly discovered his passion for helping others.

“PCYC Queensland has given me the opportunity to make new friends, help others and have fun. I am excited to take on new adventures and challenges in the future” said Connor.

“Participating in the 2018 embRACE was a big challenge for me, and I look forward to returning in 2019!” he said.

PCYC embRACE is the ultimate family-friendly challenge that has something for everyone. Over 1,500 participants are expected to join us for a fun filled day. Starting and finishing at PCYC Beenleigh, the 5.5km course progresses through the scenic Logan River Parklands, with fun optional obstacles along the way, and ends with a free community festival.
