PCYC Logan’s Youth Hub to benefit from Christmas upgrade

PCYC Logan’s Youth Hub will receive a Christmas upgrade thanks to local business champions Fallon Solutions, who will install a new kitchenette in the club on Saturday, 15 December.

PCYC Logan branch manager Sergeant Michael Newell is thrilled with the planned refurbishments and the benefits the upgrade will offer to young people in the recently refurbished hub.

“Our Youth Hub provides a welcoming safe, friendly location for young people aged 12-25 to connect with friends and have a good time in a safe environment while engaging in our activities and drop in programs,” said Sergeant Newell.

“The space is also available for community hire, so the addition of kitchen facilities will make it more accessible and hopefully encourage more members of our local community to come in and connect,” he said.

The upgrade is taking place thanks to the generosity of management at Fallon Solutions, who this year have chosen to support the community, through this kind donation to PCYC Queensland, rather than investing in gifts and cards for suppliers.

“Fallon Solutions is committed to helping those in need at Christmas, and this year PCYC Logan was nominated because of the wonderful work they do for young people and members of the local community,” said Managing Director Mark Denning.

“To complete the project in a day we have committed plumbers, a carpenter and an electrician who will transform the space by installing a new kitchenette including a hot water system, bar fridge, fans and lighting all valued in excess of $6,000,” said Mr Denning.
