PCYC Mount Gravatt to benefit from Bunnings renovation
PCYC Mount Gravatt is set to receive a renovation thanks to local Bunnings team members, who will help conduct a club makeover on Wednesday, 31 July.
The hands-on D.I.Y project will involve more than 20 local Bunnings team members and PCYC Queensland staff and volunteers, who will renovate the club’s kitchen, meeting room, bathrooms and gardens.
PCYC Mount Gravatt branch manager Sergeant Happy Pattinasarany, is grateful for the planned project.
“PCYC Mount Gravatt is a great youth hub offering programs to engage young people through their passion for music, film, skating, physical fitness, self-defence, personal development and more,” said Sergeant Pattinasarany.
“The revamp will improve our safe, fun and comfortable environment for young people to engage in our youth development programs,” he said.
Bunnings’ Area Manager Ben Corbin said Bunnings is committed to helping local community groups with hands on projects and initiatives that benefit the wider community.
“We are really excited to roll-up our sleeves and put in some elbow grease to bring new life to the PCYC Mount Gravatt club,” said Ben.
“Our team members work and live locally, with many being PCYC Queensland members, so it’s great to be able to give back to a charity that does so much good for the community,” he said.
