PCYC Queensland delivers 3×3 Street Hustle Tour across the Cape York Peninsula
PCYC Queensland Indigenous programs in partnership with the National Basketball League (NBL) and supported by Australian Indigenous Basketball, have recently delivered a fantastic 3×3 Street Hustle Tour of Indigenous communities across the Cape York Peninsula.
The NBLs 3x3Hustle is Australia’s only 3×3 basketball competition framework endorsed by Basketball Australia and FIBA and is the official pathway in Australia.
The 3×3 Street Hustle tour involved stops in Yallambie, Doomadgee, Mornington Island and Normanton Indigenous communities, where dozens of players and teams came together at each location to participate in Australian Indigenous Basketball (AIB) clinics, followed by a 3×3 Hustle tournament.
Huge thanks goes to all the communities for supporting this amazing event along the way, Sunset State School, Doomadgee State School and Mornington Island State Schools for hosting our AIB clinics and healthy lifestyle talks, and for all the staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring the event together. It was an amazing week, and we all had a ball!
