PCYC Queensland Youth Ambassador gets excited about PCYC embRACE!

As a Sports Presenter at Network 10 for more than a decade, Jonathon Williams is a self-confessed sports tragic, with his love of sport starting from an early age. Growing up on the Sunshine Coast, Jono was a keen surfer and rugby league player, with a strong interest in rugby union, AFL, cricket, golf and martial arts.

As a proud PCYC Queensland Youth Ambassador, Jono understands the importance of sport for positive choice, and is excited about PCYC embRACE – the ultimate family-friendly challenge on Sunday, 9 June.

“PCYC embRACE has something for everyone! It’s a great event for young people, families and the entire community alike, looking for a fun challenge embracing the spirit of fun and fitness,” said Jono.

“Starting and finishing at PCYC Beenleigh, the exciting new course winds its way around Dauth Park and surrounding area, with giant inflatable obstacles along the way.”

“What I love about PCYC embRACE, is it offers a great opportunity for all ages to get involved and enjoy a day of exercising mind and body, whilst helping raise vital funds for local communities.”

“What’s more, the fun finishing festival at PCYC Beenleigh is open to everyone, so the community can come together to enjoy a great day out, with rides, traditional Indigenous games, food, entertainment, jumping castles, police demonstrations and more.”

“Having two young kids myself, PCYC embRACE is a great way to spend the day out, doing something fun and active while giving back to the PCYC Queensland community, and I look forward to hosting the event.”
