Children are able to learn the skills and techniques of boxing, and work on improving their fitness levels. When ready they have the opportunity to compete in amateur bouts (only available to children 10 years and over). Boxing is not just about competing. Individuals develop skills, technique, improve fitness and self confidence. Equipment (boxing mills) is provided for first timers, but regular attendees will need to purchase their own equipment.

Martial Arts

Taekwondo is a traditional martial art that has been in existence for thousands of years. The classes teach children physical and mental discipline, whilst improving self confidence and providing the skills of martial arts. Children are encouraged to use the discipline of self esteem learned through these skills to avoid any form of confrontations. Uniforms can be purchased through the instructor. Children 12 years and older are more suited to the senior taekwondo classes.

Brazilian Ju-Jitsu
This martial art and combat sport focuses on grappling and ground fighting and correct techniques are taught. Those competing in this activity can be trained for self defence, sport grapping tournaments and mixed martial arts.
