Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)

Squad Development (Competitive)

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) is a discipline of gymnastics in which athletes perform short routines on four apparatus – Vault, Floor, Beam and Uneven Bars. These classes take gymnastics a step further for those wanting to compete. Along with routine and apparatus training, strength and conditioning is built into to provide the gymnasts with the flexibility and power to be able to perform more advanced skills at a more technical level.

Gym Sports

FreeG Parkour
FreeG is all about freedom. To discover what your body is capable of. There are no technical rules, competition or pressure to perform. Fly and be FREE!! With the combination of tricking, tumbling and obstacle courses. This fast paced and energetic sport incorporated with freestyle gymnastics will allow you to EXPRESS YOURSELF how you want.

Sports Acrobatics (Acro)
A gymnastic discipline where partnerships of gymnasts work together and perform routines consisting of acrobatic moves, dance and tumbling, set to music. Gymnasts perform routines; a ‘balance’ routine where the focus is on strength, poise and flexibility; a ‘dynamic’ routine which includes throws, somersaults and catches and a ‘combined’ routine which includes elements from balance and dynamic. Acrobatic gymnasts perform in pairs or groups. In each partnership, the gymnasts’ different sizes and abilities will be balanced to complement each other in order to carry out the complex moves. Some will mainly carry out supporting and pitching (throwing) roles, and are known as bases. They are then balanced with smaller, often more flexible, gymnasts who become the ‘tops’.
