At PCYC  Zillmere we have qualified Personal Trainers that can assist you with your health and fitness goals.

Recruit Fitness Specialised Coaching

Stay Strong Personal Training Recruit Fitness programs are specifically designed to target the “Applied Police Skills Assessment Day” (APSAD).

We have an extensive background in recruit fitness, health and wellbeing, producing specific fitness strategies for your overall application in your pursuit of becoming Qld Police officer.

What we offer:

APSAD Recruit Specialist Coaching

  • One on one specialised coaching delivered in 30 minute sessions with our highly experienced Personal Training coaches.
  • Expert advice, guidance and mentoring.
  • You will be kept accountable and motivated every step of your journey to becoming a

Qld Police Officer

  • Initial assessment to see exactly what stage you are at with your fitness
  • Beep test coaching we will check your base fitness levels, running technique, gait, your turns and breathing
  • Extra at home Cardio program to work on by yourself
  • Muscle activation with Bridget our experienced kinesiologist. Bridget will assess your push ups, hang test strength, hand grip and core strength.
  • Mindset, goal setting, strength training, communication, nutrition guidance and physical running assessment with Jen, the owner and director of SSPT.
  • Training specific to your APSAD

Group Strength Training for Seniors

This class takes place in the gym using gym equipment.

It is a small group class under the supervision of specialised exercise trainer Bridget Cook.

Each member gets their own personalised program and progresses at their own rate.

Whether you are working on being able to stand unassisted or whether your goal is to improve your golf game or cycling times, this program is designed to increase your strength.

The class gives you a group of people to work out with and you know you are safe and making the most of your workout.

Circuit Workout

A fun low impact Circuit class with a wide variety of different activities including cardio, strength training and flexibility.

Suitable for people with medium Fitness. Different levels to suit different levels of Fitness.

Adult Dance Fitness

A high intensity fitness class for adults that targets the cardio, strength and flexibility required for different styles of dance.  If you’re looking for a fun and engaging way to get fit and improve different areas of fitness, this is it!

Blitz HIIT

A fast-paced, high impact, high cardio session, for people who like to challenge their Fitness.

With a wide variety of different exercises and activities each week. Using the highly effective interval training system to increase Fitness rapidly.

Great for toning and strengthening.


Zumba is designed to bring people together. It mixes low intensity and high intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance fitness party. A total workout for all ages and fitness levels.

Gentle Exercise

A wonderful group of lovely ladies and that work together to increase all the functional movements that we need to stay strong and independent.

Different levels so that you can go at your own pace. Low impact and mildly but effectively challenging.

Always ready for a laugh through the serious business of keeping fit and healthy.

Some seated exercises but mainly standing and moving this members of this exercise class have improved so that it could now be called the ” not so gentle exercise class”


Specialising in Hatha Yoga, this style of yoga is a great introduction to yoga. It provides an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension. Yoga is also a great way to stay fit and encourage healthy mind-body connection.
