PCYC Cloncurry ANZAC Day Cricket
25 April, 2021

PCYC Cloncurry has the pleasure of hosting the 2021 JH Scott Memorial Town v Country Cricket match and the ANZAC Day Community Supa 8’s competition. Georgia Prestwidge and Courtney Sippel from Queensland Cricket Fire Team will be conducting a youth clinic during the day before joining the main cricket match at 5.30pm. Bring your family and friends to come and enjoy this fun community day.

PCYC Cloncurry Fight Night

The boxing program has been a significant part of  at PCYC Cloncurry since 2007. This action filled event will showcase the growth and development of PCYC Cloncurry boxers & provide an opportunity for local members, supporters, donors & business partners to enjoy this spectacle. Either purchase a ticket, make a donation, or bring your work colleagues, friends & family and purchase a corporate hospitality table.

PCYC Inala Multicultural Day

The annual Inala Multicultural Youth Day welcomes people of all ages to celebrate diversity and harmony in the thriving multicultural community. Last year at the 7th annual event, a record crowd of over 7,000 people enjoyed free rides, games, crafts, performances by local artists and musicians, reptile shows, exotic cuisine, driving simulations, & face painting.

PCYC Mareeba Family Fun Day

PCYC Mareeba collaborated with other Mareeba agencies to host another successful Family Fun Day during National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Week Celebrations. This inclusive community event, held for the 3rd year in a row, brought together over 400 locals who enjoyed Indigenous dancing performances, face painting, arts and craft, traditional Indigenous games, a jumping castle and climbing wall.

PCYC Palm Island Colour Run

PCYC Palm Island’s Colour Run is held as part of the Palm Island NAIDOC Week Celebrations. In 2018 over 40 children took part in this fun filled event, which consisted of four laps of the course with local kids throwing coloured powder at each other during the run, before celebrating with a sausage sizzle back at the club. Thank you to the Palm Island Police and SOS Health for lending a hand for this great community event.

PCYC Nerang Family Funanza

PCYC Nerang’s annual Family Funanza is a hugely successful community event that hosts over 60 market stalls and local community groups, & food vans. In 2018 over 7,000 people attended the fun community day which featured activity demonstrations, entertainment, family games, a jumping castle, giant slide, rides and more. Special thanks goes to Nerang Paradise Country Parklands for providing free parking & Nerang Bunnings for sponsoring rides.

PCYC Beenleigh Community Fun Day

PCYC Beenleigh’s Possibility Program, which helps people with a disability to access quality sport and recreational programs, hosts an annual Community Fun Day during Disability Action Week, held in September each year. In 2018 more than 450 people from the community came together to participate in the fun day which featured a DJ, free sausage sizzle and 10 different sports to try.

PCYC Mareeba Rugby Cup

The annual PCYC Mareeba Rugby Cup brings teams together from across Far North Queensland to participate in a great day of football. 2018 resulted in a fantastic turnout of 11 teams participating in 14 games, with Cairns Mossman Under 18s defeating Mareeba to take home the cup. Attended by around 1,000 people, it was a great day that also featured career and information displays, Lil Squirt the mini fire engine and a special appearance by Bush Tucker Bunjie, who met and delighted the children and adults and helped present the trophies and shields to winners.

PCYC Caboolture Disco

PCYC Caboolture Disco is an event for the youth of the local community to encourage young people to take part in PCYC Gymnastics. The night includes food & beverage options, competitions and will be a great opportunity for the families of Caboolture to support and be involved in the activities and programs of PCYC Caboolture.

PCYC Maranoa Senex ColourXplosion

PCYC Maranoa Senex ColourXplosion is a family friendly event that encourages people of all ages to meet and walk, ride or run on a 5km track, while being blasted with colour at each colour station. 2021’s annual PCYC Maranoa Senex ColourXplosion welcomed over 400 participants.
