PCYC Queensland Celebrates National Reconciliation Week with the Wariganda Golf Tournament in Townsville!

Join us as we honor National Reconciliation Week with our annual Wariganda Golf Tournament in Townsville. This event is more than just a game; it’s a celebration of unity, respect, and the shared journey towards reconciliation. Bringing together Elders and young people, the objective of the event is to celebrate Reconciliation Week and Mabo Day whilst raising awareness and benefits of the sport of golf within the local and surrounding indigenous communities and renewing and creating community connections around the game.

There are two courses played on the day.
9:00 am start – The 18 hole course ( 28 Teams of 4 players; 112 players total)
11:30 am start – The 9 hole course ( 6 Teams of 4 players; 24 players total)

Breakfast and lunch are provided for all participants, with presentations carried out during lunch.
