Group Accommodation

Bornhoffen is a spectacular and inspiring mountain setting for your school camp, retreat or gathering… a world away from the distractions of the city but less than 90 minutes from the Brisbane CBD.  ​Our group accommodation is available for any organised group – schools, community, church, special needs, club, weddings, events, retreats, family reunions – all are welcome.  ​

You have two venues to choose from. These venues are named after nearby mountain peaks.

WAGAWN – up to 120 people

• 9 cabins each with 12 beds
• 4 staff cabins each with 3 beds and ensuite
• Modern male and female toilet and showers
• Large dining and meeting/activity hall with stage
• Fixed data projector and screen, AV system, whiteboard
• Additional meeting room
• Commercial kitchen
• Landscaped courtyard with outdoor tables
• Staff lounge area
• Accessible toilets/showers

HOBWEE – up to 70 people

• ​7 cabins each with 8 beds and ensuite toilet/shower
• 1 cabin with 10 beds and ensuite toilet/shower
• 2 staff cabins each with 2 beds and staff toilet/shower
• Dining/activity/meeting hall with open fireplace
• TV/DVD, whiteboard, projector screen, data projector available on request
• Commercial kitchen
• Covered and open decks with outdoor tables
• Staff lounge area
• Accessible toilets/showers

Book both venues for groups up to 190 – we can accommodate larger sized groups.

Catering or Self-Catering​

Food is so important for a positive experience and our friendly catering team provide great tasting food so nobody goes hungry.  We look after those with special dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, gluten and lactose free. Our meals and morning/afternoon teas are freshly prepared daily by our catering staff.

We have a well equipped commercial kitchen available for use by self-catering groups, done on a voluntary basis.
* No external commercial catering is permitted
** Groups of 60 or more people are required to have a food handling certificate
