PCYC Rockhampton
PCYC Rockhampton first opened in 1970 in the Tivoli Theatre on the south-side of the Fitzroy River. In 1977, a new building was built on the present site at Stapleton Park, North Rockhampton. Some 25 years later in 2002 the building received its first major addition – the Pulse Centre for young people and later a new skatepark was built adjacent to the building. The present building is disability friendly, houses a performing area with a stage and DJ box, a large multi-use room and a small conference room. We offer a range of activities including baton twirling, judo and boxing. We specialise in youth programs and currently run Get Set for Work, Youth Support Services, Safer Communities, Braking the Cycle and Alternate Learning Space.
