Fundraise for us

Thank you for your interest in fundraising for PCYC Queensland and choosing to support young Queenslanders ─ helping them raise their gaze and find pathways to more promising futures. 

Your support makes the difference!

Whether you’re raising funds by yourself or as a group of friends or colleagues, your support will help young people reach their potential and make positive life choices. Before your start fundraising for PCYC Queensland or any of our community clubs, please contact the Fundraising Team at fundraising@pcyc.org.au and share your fundraising idea and event details with us!

Businesses, organisations and individuals wanting to fundraise on behalf of PCYC Queensland or one of our 55 clubs require an ‘Authority to Fundraise’ letter from our team. Please allow 3-5 business days for review and confirmation, and do not commence fundraising without receiving this approval. We can’t wait to welcome you as a valued member of our PCYC CoPS – dedicated Community PCYC Supporters!

Contact your local PCYC club about their current fundraising drives

Most of our 55 clubs run their own regular community fundraisers. Events include Colour Fun Runs, Garage Sales, Bunnings BBQs, Bake Sales, Charity Car Wash, Charity Movie Screening Nights, Boxing Fight Nights, Youth Discos as well as Trivia and Bingo events.

You can show your support by attending these local fundraising events or volunteering your time to help make these fundraisers a success. Please check our club social channels and contact your local club to get involved today!

Fundraising ideas

  • Celebrate with PCYC Queensland

    If you have all that you need, consider collecting donations in lieu of gifts for your next celebration.

    Dedicate your next birthday to help young Queenslanders in need. 

  • Host an event

    Get your friends, family and co-workers together and host an event to raise money.

    Examples include a Morning Tea, Bake Sale, Colour Run, or Garage Sale. 

  • Sizzle some Sausages

    Talk to local businesses about setting up a BBQ or sausage sizzle and raise funds through the sale of sausages and drinks. 

  • Run for Us in the Bridge to Brisbane

    You can pick PCYC Queensland as your charity of choice in the upcoming Bridge to Brisbane!

    Challenge yourself and raise vital funds to support our youth development programs. 

  • Raising Funds Online

    An easy way to raise funds through your local network is with an online fundraising page.

    Creating your own fundraising page is free, simple and quick.

  • Simply pick PCYC Queensland

    Choose PCYC Queensland as the charity of choice for your organisation’s events.

    These could include an annual conference, gala, golf day or other sporting events or team building days. 

Containers for Change

A small act for the planet. A big impact for young Queenslanders in our community. 

To help improve recycling efforts and keep our beautiful environment litter-free, the Queensland Container Refund Scheme ─ Containers for Change ─ offers a 10-cent refund for each eligible container returned to a refund point.

This includes plastic bottles, aluminium cans, glass bottles (various sizes), paper juice cartons and some paper yoghurt cartons.

As a registered charity, you can now support PCYC Queensland or your local PCYC club through the recycling scheme. When you return your containers to an over-the-counter depot, drop-off, RVM or mobile pop-up site, simply use our Unique Scheme ID: C10993049 to donate your refund to PCYC Queensland.

All funds raised will be used to support our youth programs and club activities ─ helping to change the stories for young people facing disadvantage, isolation, or limited opportunities.
