Thank you for your interest in fundraising for PCYC Queensland and choosing to support young Queenslanders. Whether you’re raising funds by yourself or as a group of friends or colleagues, your support makes all the difference!

In order to fundraise for PCYC Queensland or any of our 54 clubs, simply download the Community Fundraising Guide and fill in the Fundraising Registration Form. If your activity is approved, you will receive an ‘Authority to Fundraise’ letter from PCYC Queensland. You must not commence fundraising without receiving this approval from PCYC.

Run for PCYC

Here at PCYC Queensland, we believe in using sport for positive choice. This means that the next time you are out getting active, you are able to raise vital funds for young Queenslanders. You could choose to participate in a fun-run, marathon, long walk or anything in between!

Whether you want to take on an event as an individual or as part of a team, it’s as simple as registering for the event through the event website, selecting PCYC Queensland when prompted to create your fundraising page and then asking your friends and family to sponsor you.

Not sure what event to take on? Check out some events below! This is not an exhaustive list – there are hundreds of events you can participate in as a fundraiser for PCYC Queensland!

Bridge to Brisbane     Sunshine Coast Marathon    Colour Run      Tough Mudder

Celebrate with PCYC

Donations in lieu of a gift can be applied to almost any event or celebration – birthdays, christenings, graduations, anniversaries, weddings – and is simple to arrange. No matter the occasion, your fundraising will make a real difference to young people in Queensland by providing them with access to life-changing opportunities.

Create your own ‘In Celebration’ fundraising page and include it with your invitations to your special event or occasion. You might like to insert the following phrase along with it!

‘We/I have all that we/I need in life, so in place of gifts, we/I would appreciate your contribution to PCYC Queensland, to help build safer and healthier communities through youth development.’

Donate in place of wedding favours or bomboniere

Congratulations on your special day! If you would prefer to give a donation to PCYC Queensland in place of traditional bomboniere or thank you favours, we can provide you with thank you cards to acknowledge that you have given a donation on your guests’ behalf in place of a gift. These cards can be as detailed or as short and sweet as you would like. Just contact us well in advance of your wedding date so we can have them prepared for you.

Donations in Memoriam

Donating to PCYC Queensland in memory of a family member or friend that has passed away is a meaningful way to honour them and have their legacy live on.

You can make an In Memoriam donation in several ways:

  • Next of kin, family and friends can request donations in memory of their loved one at a funeral service.Requesting donations in lieu of flowers at the funeral service of your loved one allows family, friends and guests to give a meaningful gift to PCYC Queensland.

Below is some suggested wording to include in the funeral notice, letting your guests know of your wishes.

“In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of (Name) can be made to PCYC Queensland, PO Box 3445 Tingalpa DC QLD 4173. Please include your name and postal address so that PCYC Queensland can send you a                         receipt.”

  • Create an online memorial or tribute page to share memories about their loved one.

Create an ‘In Memoriam’ fundraising page, to facilitate donations from friends and family in memory of your loved one. Using this page, friends and family can leave messages of support whilst donating.
