Fundraise For Us
Thank you for your interest in fundraising for PCYC Queensland and choosing to support young Queenslanders. Whether you’re raising funds by yourself or as a group of friends or colleagues, your support will help young people reach their potential and make positive life choices.
Your support makes the difference!
In order to fundraise for PCYC Queensland or any of our clubs and the communities in which we serve, simply contact the Fundraising Team at [email protected]. Businesses, organisations and individuals wanting to fundraise on behalf of PCYC Queensland or one of its clubs require an ‘Authority to Fundraise’ letter from PCYC Queensland. You must not commence fundraising without receiving this approval. Please allow 3 to 5 business days to receive confirmation.
Contact your local PCYC club about their current fundraising drives
Most of our 56 Queensland clubs run their own regular community fundraising events; from Colour Runs, to Car Shows, Bunnings BBQ’s, Charity Movie Screening Nights, Boxing Fight Nights, Halloween Disco’s as well as Trivia and Bingo events. Get in touch with your local club and ask how you can help by volunteering at or attending one of these family-friendly events and directly support your local community. Each year in July, our clubs also host an Open Day & ‘Come & Try’ event, showcasing all the amazing programs and activities on offer – feel free to drop by and support your local club by purchasing raffle tickets or a tasty snack from their volunteer-run Sausage Sizzle.
Celebrate with PCYC Queensland
If you have all that you need, consider collecting donations in lieu of gifts for your next celebration.
Donations in lieu of a gift can be applied to almost any event or celebration – birthdays, christenings, graduations, anniversaries, weddings – and is simple to arrange. No matter the occasion, your fundraising will make a real difference to young people in Queensland by providing them with access to life-changing opportunities.
Create your own ‘In Celebration’ fundraising page and include it with your invitations to your special event or occasion. You might like to insert the following phrase along with it!
‘We/I have all that we/I need in life, so in place of gifts, we/I would appreciate your contribution to PCYC Queensland,
to help build safer and healthier communities through youth development.’
If you have any questions about setting up your ‘In Celebration’ fundraising page, please contact the fundraising team on (07) 3909 9592 or email [email protected].
Host an event
Get your friends, family and co-workers together and host an event to raise money.
It could be a Trivia night, Bingo night or a High Tea. Raise funds through the ticket price and activities, such as a raffle or auction on the night.
Sizzle some sausages
Talk to local businesses about setting up a BBQ or sausage sizzle at their shop front and raise funds through the sale of sausages and drinks.
Raising funds online
An easy way to raise funds through your local network is with an online fundraising page. Creating your own fundraising page is free, simple and quick.

Containers for Change
To help us all improve our recycling efforts and keep our beautiful environment litter-free, the Queensland Container Refund Scheme, Containers for Change offers a 10 cent refund for each eligible container returned to a refund point. This includes plastic bottles, aluminium cans, glass bottles, paper juice cartons and some paper yoghurt cartons.
As a registered charity, you can now support PCYC Queensland or your local PCYC club through the scheme. When you return your containers to an over-the-counter depot, drop-off, RVM or mobile pop-up site, simply use our unique scheme ID: C10005867 to donate your refund to PCYC Queensland. All funds will be used to support our youth programs and club activities.
Donate in memoriam
Donate in memoriam
Donating to PCYC Queensland in memory of a family member or friend that has passed away is a meaningful way to honour them and have their legacy live on.
You can make an In Memoriam donation in several ways:
Next of kin, family and friends can request donations in memory of their loved one at a funeral service.
Requesting donations in lieu of flowers at the funeral service of your loved one allows family, friends and guests to give a meaningful gift to PCYC Queensland. Below is some suggested wording to include in the funeral notice, letting your guests know of your wishes.
“In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of (Name) can be made to PCYC Queensland, PO Box 985 Slacks Creek QLD 4127.
Please include your name and postal address so that PCYC Queensland can send you a receipt.”
Create an online memorial or tribute page to share memories about their loved one.
Create an ‘In Memoriam’ fundraising page, to facilitate donations from friends and family in memory of your loved one. Using this page, friends and family can leave messages of support whilst donating.
