Safe spaces needed now

There are young people in your Queensland community attending PCYC’s youth programs, saying it’s their only safe space. Without your support in our safe club spaces, the young people who need someone like you in their corner might slip through the cracks, fly under the radar, and remain at risk.

Your gift could be the reason why another young Queenslander builds the confidence, mental wellbeing and social skills needed to reclaim their future, for Queensland’s.

Please help all young Queenslanders find the safe space they need when it matters most. Make a donation today.

Will you ensure young Queenslanders are given every opportunity to make good choices?

By age 12, Leah was facing over 100 criminal charges and trapped in a cycle of battling addiction and destructive choices. For Leah, boxing became more than just a sport – it was a lifeline.

Until Leah found boxing, she recalls “I felt like I wasn’t good at anything except stealing.”

Leah now believes having access to free programs is crucial for making good choices. Many at-risk young people aged 12–18 first experience boxing by attending our free After Dark youth development program.

This year, program engagements have surged by 34% across our 55 clubs. Meaning there could be a young person somewhere in Queensland tonight stepping into their local club seeking support for the first time.

As demand increases, will you ensure we reach every young Queenslander when they need it most?
