PCYC Queensland and Livingstone Shire Council are pleased to confirm several important updates for users of the Capricorn Coast Aquatic Centre following ongoing community feedback and consultation.
Fitness Passport access will remain available until 31 December, ensuring continuity for existing users while longer-term arrangements continue to be explored.
PCYC is also introducing a new membership and fees structure, including an annual membership option that will provide more affordable access for regular swimmers.
In addition, spectator entry fees will be removed across all Council aquatic facilities.
To support local aquatic sport and participation, we have also confirmed changes to fees and usage arrangements for the Swim Club until 31 December. Through capped, Council subsidised lane hire fees and additional support for storage solutions at the facility, we are confident we’ll be able to continue to work collaboratively with the Swim Club to secure this important activity for the community.
PCYC and Council remain committed to working closely with user groups and the broader community to ensure the facility continues to meet local needs while operating in a sustainable and accessible way.
