PCYC Capricorn Coast is a vibrant community hub offering a unique blend of coastal adventure, recreation, and youth development. Set on 4.7 acres just minutes from the beach, our centre provides a welcoming space for school camps, community programs, events, and outdoor experiences designed to inspire growth, connection, and fun for all ages.

Accommodation at PCYC Capricorn Coast

We offer a range of fully air-conditioned accommodation options, including dorm-style cabins for 4, 6, or 10 guests, self-contained ensuite cabins for up to four people, and an accessible cabin with two twin rooms and a shared ensuite. In total, we can host up to 112 guests. Onsite camping is also available for those who prefer a more outdoorsy stay—with the chance to spot some local wildlife!

PCYC Capricorn Coast offers a versatile range of facilities designed to support camps, events, and community programs of all sizes. Set on 4.7 acres in Cooee Bay, our site includes a large multi-purpose stadium, spacious dining hall, meeting rooms, outdoor entertainment areas with BBQs and fire pits, and a variety of accommodation options.

Programs and Activities

At PCYC Capricorn Coast, we design fun, purposeful programs that build trust, leadership, teamwork and resilience in a safe, supportive setting. Through tailored activities and guided reflection, students gain personal insight while strengthening their social skills.

Our experienced facilitators deliver engaging programs for primary and secondary students, featuring high-adventure activities like rock climbing, kayaking, high ropes and abseiling—as well as relaxed options like bush skills and beach walks.

We can also coordinate offsite experiences to local attractions such as Keppel Island, Capricorn Caves, and local wildlife parks.

As a not-for-profit, PCYC Queensland reinvests into programs that support young people and build stronger communities—creating learning experiences that last a lifetime.
