PCYC Capricorn Coast

Formerly, the Yeppoon Active Recreation Centre and originally known as the National Fitness Camp, the PCYC Queensland, Capricorn Coast Development Centre has been operating on this site since 1947 for the benefit of young people and the community. The Centre receives no operational funding from government and relies on earned income, fundraising, grants and donations to provide and improve our services.

Our purpose is to inspire young people to be self-aware, to build their social skills and to contribute positively to their community. We believe that leaders are made not born, no matter where a child comes from they deserve the same opportunity to develop self-confidence, effective leadership skills and be both emotionally aware and inspired to continually challenge self-imposed limitations.

This Centre provides accommodation for groups of up to 112 persons. On and off site adventure activities offered with camps at additional cost. Groups with minimum numbers for day bookings are also welcome.
