Club Overview

PCYC South Burnett is proud to deliver a wide range of fun, safe, and healthy sport and recreation activities for individuals of all ages and abilities. In partnership with the Murgon, Kingaroy, and Cherbourg local councils, as well as valued community organisations, we are committed to making our programs accessible and affordable for everyone.

Our club offers diverse opportunities in sport and recreation, education, training, and employment. We also deliver a variety of youth development and crime prevention initiatives led by our dedicated staff and Queensland Police Service officers.

We conduct Recruit Fitness Testing on Mondays from 3pm-4pm. Bookings are essential and applicants must bring required QPS documentation fully completed to participate. To book please call us on (07) 4168 1889 or pop into reception at the club.

Gymnastics

Pickleball

Do you know Pickleball is one of the world’s fastest growing games!

Pickleball is great for all ages and abilities. Improve your hand eye coordination, keep fit and meet friends in our welcoming, indoor facilities.
Squash

Squash is a fast-paced indoor racquet sport played by two players.

The game demands quick reflexes, agility, and strategic thinking, making it an excellent full-body workout that boosts cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and endurance.

Squash is easy to learn, fun to play, and suitable for all fitness levels, which makes it a popular choice for both casual and competitive players.
Volleyball

Volleyball is a fast-paced, team sport that combines skill, strategy, and communication as players work together to rally the ball over the net and score points.

Our social games are a great way to stay active, improve coordination, and have fun in a supportive and energetic environment.
Netball

Netball is a great opportunity for fun, fitness and making friends.

This team sport is a challenging game with fast-paced action, ball skills and a passionate team environment.
Boxing

Boxing continues to hold an important place in PCYC Queensland’s history, as our foundation offering at PCYC Lang Park, our first official club in 1948.

75+ years on, boxing remains one of our most popular activities, with many of our Gym+Fitness centres also offering boxfit and boxercise classes.

Multi-Function Sports Hall

General Amenities: This multi-sport hall is perfect for basketball, netball, volleyball, indoor soccer and more!

Can also be used for local charity balls, fundraising festivals, local shows and more.

PCYC can also provide table and chairs to large functions.

Squash Courts

General Amenities: With four squash courts, viewing platform and separate bathroom access, these courts have been well used!

Meeting Room

General Amenities: It boasts a large board table, Wi-Fi access and tea and coffee facilities.

Commercial Kitchen

General Amenities: Fully stocked commercial kitchen with walk in cold room.

Commercial ovens, dish washers, stainless steel bench tops, large serving facilities and canteen style serving counters.

Dining Room

Capacity: 100 Max

General Amenities: With easy set up tables and chairs, this room also boasts a small stage for live bands or speeches.

Can be used in conjunction with the commercial kitchen and its own set of amenities it can be a fully servicing function room.

Games Room

General Amenities: Our games room is the perfect space for youth to drop into after school.

We have free Wi-Fi, table tennis, chill out lounges and a large interactive agility game.
