More than 150 young people and community members gathered at PCYC Palm Island for a very special visit from AFL legend Lance “Buddy” Franklin.
Lance officially delivered a brand-new KIA Tasman ute to the club before spending time with local young people, running AFL drills, sharing stories from his career and encouraging everyone to chase their goals.
The excitement was undeniable, with some of the children describing it as “the best day of their lives”.
A huge thank you to Lance for taking the time to connect with the Palm Island community and create memories that will last a lifetime.
