Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

We value the importance of play in childhood and are committed to assisting children to reach their potential.

PCYC’s Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) caters for children aged up to 12 years and is offered in more than 100 locations making PCYC the largest provider of OSHC in the state! Within our services, we strive to work in partnership with parents/carers and schools to enhance children’s education through quality programs with a strong focus on social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

Our goal is to make sure our children make friends, learn and have fun along the way! Through engagement with the children and parents of our services, we have developed programs to respond to specific needs, including Kids in the Kitchen, a hands-on program that provides education through action, with the opportunity to make and try healthy food – be warned these popular foods don’t often make it home!

We embed sustainable practices through engagement at each of our services. These can include the opportunity for our children to become involved in community projects, learn more about the living environment through activities such as gardening and taking an active role in recycling. Sport and recreation remains a key feature in all of our PCYC clubs and OSHC services, children have the opportunity to try different indoor and outdoor activities to burn off energy by joining in organised and casual sports.
