Bike Ed

Bike Ed is our bike education program for primary school students. This program teaches young children the necessary skills to travel safely and confidently within their local community through a blend of bike handling techniques and interactive simulations.

We’re delivering Bike Ed from Grades 4 – 6. Check with your local site to find out more. Available at Redcliffe, Pine Rivers and Ashmore. 

• Bike Ed works with QPS, community volunteers, parents, caregivers, and teachers to provide both theory and practical sessions.
• It engages children in interactive simulation, teaches road safety practices, and sets lifelong sustainable travel habits.
• Classes cater to different age groups, with a focus on helping children stay active and healthy while staying safe on the roads.
